MADEIRA EMBROIDERY WARRANTY SEAL
All motifs embroidered in Mudame jewelry are our own authorship.
Our designs are then passed through the legal process until being embroidered.
In the final phase the quality of every single piece of Madeira embroidery is checked by the Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Handicraft Institute, that after the thorough control of the perfection and authenticity of the full work of the embroidery, is placed a guarantee seal, that certificates the quality and authenticity of the pieces produced in the Madeira island. This certificate is kept with the pieces.
Quality Assurance of the precious metals
Every Mudame jewelry is contrasted by the Portuguese Mint and Official Printing Office (INCM ), an official body that exercises several functions, one of which, the authentication of precious metals. The silver used in our creations is the 925 or higher, represented by the symbol of the eagle head (turned to the left in case of values greater or equal than 925 thousandths).
This guarantee, given by the assay of the metal purity and application of the office mark, is a task of the Assay offices of INCM, that uses laboratories accredited by the IPAC as the most modern analytical methods and the high security brands against forgery.
In Portugal, it is mandatory that manufactured and marketed jewels in precious metals have at least 1 symbol which indicates the quality and the type of the material.
Maintenance Care
Your jewelry can preserve its splendor for decades, if treated properly and adapted to its specificities.
We advise you to keep your jewelry in a closed space, separated individually and with the embroidery facing up.
To the embroidery, was applied an invisible protection, however it should not have a special care.
The gold, the silver or the platinum and the semi-precious or precious stones - have different hardnesses and therefore should not be in contact so as not to damage the surface of each material, particularly, polished surfaces.
The silver with gold or copper bath requires an extra care as they must not be rubbed against other hard surfaces, as it may withdraw the superficial bath coming into view the silver color of the metal base.
